Disney

A few pictures from our trip to Disney with Matt and Marshall ... here's us at Magic Kingdom BEFORE the total downpour began.  When did Abby get so TALL... ?

Matt and Marshall in front of the castle...

We took this picture for Pappaw ... one word ... "Kawliiii-jahhhhh!" (For everyone else, that's an old country song about a cigar indian ...)

Some pictures need no description.

They look frighteningly comfortable doing this!

July

This is what we do in Florida in July - kill snakes in the backyard!  And by "we," I mean Daddy of course.  This one turned out to be a harmless garter snake, but since we are not snake experts we go for the "hack first, identify later" method.  Don't tell PETA!

Does it get any cuter?  Eli at 4 months.

Pirate Ezra, asleep from our evening walk.

Cousin Marshall came for a visit in early July - here are all the kids in their July 4 shirts from MomEm!

Marshall and Ezra - spider-buddies with light-sabers and swords...

One of our favorite places here - the Alligator Farm... (really, it's way cool.  You should go...)

Down to Disney World ... the Kennedy Circus plus Uncle Matt and cousin Marshall, eating dinner at Johnny Rockets in Orlando.  Yes, this is how I eat most of my meals...

Pappaw came down to visit Donnie in Pensacola for the induction of Viper 500 (that's the helicopter) into the Naval Aviation Museum.  It will be in a new exhibit opening in 2 years... if you're ever there, check it out!  Donnie's name is on the door (we always teased him he'd be in a museum one day!)

June

June started out with the Change of Command for Donnie.  He's official now - you can even see it on the helicopter!  He'll be XO for about a year, then fleet up to be CO of HSL-48.  During these 2.5 years, he will be home most of the time, although "home" is of course a subjective term meaning "on this continent," not actually bodily in our house... :)

Grandma came to town to help out with the CoC, and here is our best attempt at a picture with the kids!   This is actually really a good case study in the Kennedy kids: Abigail - poised and smiling; Ezra - being silly; Sarah - throwing a tantrum; and Elijah - huh?

Abigail, poised and smiling again!

Elijah at about 3 months...

The goofy two:

The kids and I went to the zoo to see the new Komodo Dragon exhibit. It rained almost the entire day, but hey, at least it wasn't hot!
